Ami and Sid had the destination wedding of their dreams! The couple had family and friends from all over the world flying in for their special day. They fell in love with Pelican Hill and wanted the ceremony there for their 350 guests. The picture perfect site was amazing for their vision of a nontraditional look of the ceremony. Their guests were first treated by breakfast before their walk down to the event lawn. The groom arrived on a white horse named Magnolia, very fitting with Pelican Hill. The rotunda was draped in dusty pink chiffon, 3 crystal chandeliers, with pomander balls of flowers as the back drop to their stage set just outside the structure. They opted not to have the traditional mundap but instead 4 large arrangement of floral at each corner to symbolize the 4 posts. The guests were also greeted by 2 floral elephants as they enter the aisle adorn with rose petals. After the ceremony, guests were treated with a special luncheon at the resort before parting to the Ritz Carlton for yet an amazing reception.
The reception at Ritz-Carlton was equally exceptional, with beautiful flowers in hues of lavender to purple-plum. They had a hanging cake suspended from the ceiling with floral chandelier above it. Guests were also treated with a special surprise of the after hour party that was later revealed following their lavish dinner. The party ended at 3:00am and all who attended had a blast!!!
